I am a New York City-based writer photographer independent scholar DJ. I was the first junior faculty hired to teach lesbian and gay studies at Yale University, where I coordinated the first academic conference on Michael Jackson. A chapter of my novel-in-progress appears in the Lamba Literary Award-winning anthology Fresh Men: New Voices in Gay Fiction (edited by Edmund White and Don Weise).

Since 2009, I have been photographing New York City's nightlife celebrities, mostly during the hours between dusk and dawn that I call FINENITE. A truly fine night out in Manhattan lingers past these fixed hours of its lived experience.

My photography was featured in the Bright Lights, Queer City group show at the Leslie/Lohman Museum of Gay and Lesbian Art (July 2011). NYC's Fresh Fruit Festival presented me with an award for Best Visual Artist. I was also one of ten finalists in Next Magazine's Pride Photo contest (June 2011). My photo was published in the magazine.

As a DJ, I have worked with many of New York City's nightlife celebrities, including Amanda Lepore, Sherry Vine, Michael Formika Jones, Demanda Dahling, Bianca del Rio, Dina Delicious, Daniel Nardicio, Cazwell, Mila Jam, Isis Vermouth and Mila Jam. Currently, I am on rotation on Monday nights at The Cock and every Thursday at Norwood.
